Stages represent your major customer’s categories: where they are in the customer journey (Onboarding, Adoption, Maturity, Renewal). A customer can be in only one stage. They work like a funnel: If a customer meets the conditions of more than one stage, he will be in the latest stage in the list.

The difference with Segments

Segments allows you to monitor specific group of customers and specific behavior. A segment is a subset of a stage. A customers can have multiples segments:

  • Stuck in onboarding

  • NPS detractors

  • Upsell candidates

  • Use the messaging features

  • Quota reached
