Session

A session is triggered when the contact hasn't performed any page view for more than 30 minutes and then performs a page view. A session represents a group of page views performed within a given time frame. As soon as one session ends, there is then an opportunity to start a new session. A contact can perform several sessions in a day.

Daily session

Unlike the event "Session", the event "Daily session" is performed only once a day, when the contact performed his first session of the day. It allows you to know how many days the contact has been active in period of time (daily session is greater than 4 in the last 2 weeks = the contact has been active 4 days in the last 2 weeks).
