Attributes can be pushed to Salesmachine via different formats :

  • Text
  • Number
  • Date
  • Boolean (True/ False)
  • Pick List

Salesmachine can only consider an attribute as number if it is pushed as a number.

Attributes can be analysed in Salesmachine only if they have the right format
Eg : number pushed as number , data pushed as date ...

Intercom as a source of reference

If Intercom is your source of reference, you can check the format of your attributes on this page

Ensure your format this way 

If the information is pushed in the wrong way, it needs to be fix in Intercom and pushed again to Salesmachine in the right format.
The format cannot be changed in Salesmachine.

Segment or API as a source of reference

If you cannot check your source of reference, you can make some tests directly in Salesmachine

  • This attribute displays numbers but it is pushed as a text because I can write letters in it
  • This attribute is pushed as a number because I cannot write letters in it
  • This attribute is pushed as a date because a calendar is suggested


If the information is pushed in the wrong way, it needs to be fix in the source of reference and pushed again to Salesmachine in the right format.
The format cannot be changed in Salesmachine.
